Hi, this is Erik and I’m an experienced retail professional with extensive history of working in the retail industry. I first started my corporate career as a mainframe computer programmer in the logistics division. I then transitioned over to Project Management in Food Replenishment and then finally moved to Merchandise Planning and Analytics supporting and leading various divisions. The role of Merchandise Planning and Analytics has been my sweet spot for my skill set. I’ve spent the majority of my career in this type of role because I absolutely love it. Having a technical degree I love to work with systems and I’m great at acquiring data to generate insightful information to make important decisions. I also enjoy being close to the merchandise decisions to help influence that element of retail. I have developed excellent forecasting skills that is highly valued and appreciated by the teams I have supported. I take pride in providing reliable information that important million dollar decisions are being made with. For fun I love to fly fish. That’s where you will find me every weekend. In 2017 I started being a guide in our area and it has been so much fun and rewarding. I’ve meet some incredible people over the years and love helping others learn fly fishing.
