I've always loved finding new, unique, and proactive ways to solve problems. For over a decade now, I have focused on finding ways to make compensation work both more efficiently for businesses, and equitably for their employees. My background spans the ever-changing non-profit healthcare industry to the more steady and structured public sector government arena. Regardless of the industry, the need for competitive pay, and understandable, transparent processes are vital to employee engagement and job satisfaction. Organizations often have a compensation philosophy and supporting processes that were drawn up and implemented a decade (or more!) ago. I help organizations modernize worn out or antiquated practices to better attract, hire, and retain employees, but also be more flexible and responsive to the ever-changing market. I know what it's like to juggle comp cycles, merit cycles, and compliance issues seemingly all at once -- especially when resources are tight. My approach focuses on making processes simple, understandable, and responsive. I build compensation structures and processes that make compensation easier and more efficient to manage. Chaos is my happy place. I find peace in the storm. Yet outside of work, you'll find me enjoying a peaceful evening with a book, or watching some reality competition on television.
