I am a Ph.D. student in Marketing at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Brisbane, Australia. My doctoral studies focus on understanding the ways in which the social and cultural context of Indigenous people determines the enactment of social practices. My study participants are Amazonian Indigenous people and the unit of analysis is their COVID-19 health practices and rituals. I have 10 years of experience as a practitioner in communication. My experience combines leading the communication component of public and private public health interventions and working as a communication consultant. In 2019, I earned a Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Wollongong, Australia and in 2020 I started my Ph.D.
