Established in 1996, Children’s Harbor is a nationally accredited non-profit agency with a mission to help strengthen families who are struggling in our community, while providing safe shelter and support to teens in foster care so that they may grow into healthy, educated and productive adults. 

Children's Harbor is dedicated to three very specific areas within the foster care system:

✔ We keep kids safe in our family group home program

✔ We help families heal through our family strengthen services and,

✔ We shine a light towards hope by providing wrap-around support and guidance to teens who have 
      aged out of the foster care system alone through a continuum of independence living services.

Everything we do. Every decision that we make is specifically focused on making a meaningful impact in one of these three areas. We keep children safe. While their families are given the opportunity to heal, and if it is no longer possible for a child to return home, we become their family. We come alongside them, we support them, we resource them, until they can reach a place of independence and self-sufficiency.

Connections for Business

Connections for Business is a business-to-business provider of managed IT services to small-to-midsize firms.

After joining as Manager of Business Development, I was promoted in 2017 to direct the full go-to-market strategy as the company’s sales and business development leader. As such, I lead a team responsible for stimulating demand, building mindshare, and scouting and capturing sales opportunities for onsite and remote IT implementations, help desk support, data security, and cloud services via strategic territory planning, lead generation and conversion, the cultivation of C-level decision makers relationships, community-based marketing, and RFP response management. Key achievements:

►Strengthening the firm’s long-term performance, building a profitable book of business with consistent growth in new accounts across industries, leveraging a high-touch approach and lead development to build local brand recognition and enhanced customer value.

►Creating the company’s business development framework; I hired the team, defined the core success KPIs, trained our staff on the CRM platform and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and led cold calling campaigns delivering a productive pipeline.

►Cultivating and converting new executive leads via C-Level networking groups and local chambers.

►Representing Connections For Business as featured speaker and instructor on best practices in LinkedIn lead development, cybersecurity, and technology issues. Over the past several years, I have been invited to present at chambers of commerce, Rotary clubs, and corporate clients.

I was recruited to manage Infrasol’s sales strategy and operations, hiring and managing a team responsible for lead generation, business development, RFP response construction and management, and omnichannel marketing including digital, social, collateral development, product marketing, branding, and events. Key achievement:

►Building a substantial book of business via strategic industry business development, cultivating the long-term sales cycle through contractors, property developers, property managers, and architects, including some high-profile clients.

As the firm’s leading consultant, I provided the full scope of strategic information technology support and project management services including technology assessments, the development of strategic IT roadmaps, the design of social and digital platforms, the implementation of hosted and cloud solutions, and the management of service vendors.

Oversaw matrixed project teams of engineers and technologists. Key achievement:

►Creating and leading a high-performing PMO that managed a broad portfolio of mission critical initiatives for client banking, fintech, and media firms.

►Liaising across the organization to design the core project management tools, processes, and standard operating procedures.
