As Food Technologist, I have been trained to apply the principles of food science and technology, mathematics and computing to analyze, design, synthesize, install and control engineering systems involved in food preocessing for the sole benefit of mankind, through the careful and proper examination of fundamental principles, hypothesis and scientific philosophy. My training has equipped me to design research projects that test theories about food processing issues. This involves the collection of data using various sources such as interviews, observations, experiments and surveys. I am proficient in preparing reports, and presentation that details research conclusion. The knowledge I have acquired qualifies me to collaborate with administrators and food processors on implementing research conclusions to solve problems that benefits mankind. I have quite a wide range of work experience. I am proficient in complex problem solving skills, and time management skills. I have crafted system productivity reports and presented findings to decision makers. I have also diagnosed and addressed the root cause of system irregularities. I hold a B.Sc. degree in Food science and technology from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State, Nigeria with a second class upper division. I am excited to apply for this position because my background is full of unique qualification. I am an energetic individual with a unique skill set that will benefit any organization I become a part of. I did my industrial training in the quality control and assurance department of Flour Mills of Nigeria (Golden Penny), Apapa in Lagos and this has exposed me to analysis carried out on flour samples to ensure it meets up with standard and i have also worked in the production department of GLOVA yorghurt company and in the water treatment department of ZARTECH LIMITED. Additionally, I possess a proven ability to deliver any task given to tight deadlines, in a time pressured environment. I get through difficult periods by focusing on solutions rather than problems. I am a great team player, who is flexible, has excellent troubleshooting skills, is quick to hypothesis and remedy defects, and is self-motivated enough to be able to work on my own initiative. I work well under pressure and also possess the ability to be inventive when it comes to designing solutions for tough problems.
