While taking my McKinsey Forward Program, something struck me. 

We were talking about communicating for impact and one of the ways to communicate effectively is through storytelling. 

We were referred to a Ted talk by Chimanda Ngọzi Adichie,”We should all be feminists” and that alone explained everything perfectly. 

The Ted talk was 30 minutes long but while watching it, I didn't feel it was that long. 

I watched with a keen interest. I was so engrossed in the stories she told. 

She used all the techniques for crafting a message. 

📌 Infusing personal meaning and conviction. 

📌 Incorporating stories. 

📌 Using rhetorical techniques. 

📌 Balancing positive and negative message. 

Her stories were attention grabbing and they all connected to her message. 

It is the best TED TALK I've seen.
