The path I've taken has been far from normal, starting in the banking industry and making the jump to SaaS sales after five years as an old-school banker. Through these various experiences, I have learned what it takes to be a strong leader in adverse times, maintain persistency, and never doubt one's skillset. What really keeps me going is the constant development of a growth mindset, leading to the continual learning of new things, embracing the differences of everyone's background, and developing efficient processes that drive positive results. At my core, I am a mindset nerd and tend to leverage quotes as a way to drive different perspectives. I believe quotes are one of the most powerful tools as only a few words can cause someone to look at their life, actions, and beliefs in a completely different manner. I enjoy pulling out a quote or two in conversation to drive deeper human connections and learn more about the mindset of the people I meet. Embracing a growth mindset has allowed me to ditch the old-school salesperson stigma (you know what I'm talking about) and, due to that, I will never sell a product I don't believe in. Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife, family + friends, and learning more about the way humans are wired. Nothing kicks my OCD itch like a freshly mowed lawn or organizing my OneDrive folders. I also love anything outdoors, watching stand-up comedy, and spending a day on the golf course. I've been playing golf since I was a young buck and haven't found a game that parallels to the "game of life" better than that of the one we play on the links.
