My mission is to empower people to control their value. Author of The Next Gold Rush: The Future of Investing in People Entrepreneur; Podcast Host; Community Builder; Innovator In 2018, I had my big idea: "Why can't I invest in people?" and since then I've made it my life mission to empower people and eventually invest in them. People are the most undervalued and fundamental asset class. Every human institution requires people to function but there's currently no way to fairly capture and distribute the value people provide. I spent years developing my big idea until I learned about New Degree Press and their goal of community-powered books through empowering authors. I immediately resonated with NDP and decided the best way to spread my idea was to write a book. After 10 months of research, writing, and revising, I accomplished my goal with The Next Gold Rush: The Future of Investing in People. Writing a book is not a solo sport; It takes a village, or community. I grew to appreciate the power of community writing and publishing as not a side benefit of NDP but the key to success as an author. Authors rely on their fans and readers to not only read the book but engage with its content, tell their friends about it, and ultimately drive sales through word of mouth. Every member of the author's community plays an essential role in the author's success. These insights led me to a collaboration with Eric Koester, Founder at Manuscripts & NDP, for his next books The Pennymores & Super Mentors. Through his book launches we discovered an amazing opportunity to build his audience with events, social media, PR, and other innovative marketing strategies. Our product testing quickly became a full-service marketing agency for authors and creators looking for a one-stop-shop for their next product launch: Community Perks.
