I live and breathe marketing. After spending 26 years in marketing, I’m still unlearning and relearning the art and science of marketing. Here’s 5 quick facts about me: 1) I’m passionate about sharing the art of marketing through digital marketing and marketing courses, and have trained over 12,000 professionals and business owners in the last 12 years. I also lecture digital marketing in the National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School 2) As one of the early pioneers of digital marketing in Southeast Asia during the mid-2000s, I’ve seen how digital has transformed companies. I am truly enthusiastic about helping companies in digital transformation and have worked with organisations like NTUC, Enterprise Singapore (ESG), Workforce Singapore (WSG), SME Centre, and others in this area. 3) I believe in the effectiveness of personal coaching, and have coached many executives and business owners in small groups, or 1-to-1 setting, in the area of marketing, business management and digital. One notable project I have undertaken was the elite Google Business Coaching programme where I coached 52 top digital agency bosses in Singapore and Malaysia in business management. 4) I started out as one of first scholar of Changi Airport Group (known as CAAS then), and has worked in great companies like 3M, FedEx and DHL in marketing & sales leadership roles. I left the rat race to become an entrepreneur and set up ClickAcademy Asia in 2011, which is now a leading training and consultancy services provider in Southeast Asia. 5) Learn, unlearn, relearn – that’s my motto in keeping up with the fast changing world. I really enjoy learning new stuff in digital marketing, entrepreneurship, new technologies and business from other fellow entrepreneurs, marketing schools and fantastic online programmes. I enjoy meeting people who are passionate about marketing, digital transformation and entrepreneurship.
