A risky email refers to a situation where all emails sent to a particular catch-all email server are accepted, even if the email address doesn't exist. For instance, if a company's email server is set up as a catch-all, any email sent to any email address on that domain will be accepted, even if the email address doesn't exist. For example, you could send an email to a fake email address on that domain and it would still be accepted, despite not actually existing. This can be problematic as it may result in sensitive information being sent to the wrong recipient or inboxes becoming inundated with spam.
