In high performance, peaks create blind spots.

The mind starts telling a story that you cannot miss. That story is the trap.

Calm is not passive. Calm is control. Calm keeps your signal clean so you can see the next best move.

Here is how to hold the peak without losing the plot.
Breathe low and slow until the body settles.
Name the feeling you are riding. Excitement, relief, pride.
Check your rules. Did you follow them or did you get lucky.
Run a quick pre-mortem on the next decision. What could go wrong.
Express gratitude. Then return to your routine.

Same for the lows. Steady in the loss. Steady in the win. 
That is how you stay dangerous for decades, not days.

Enjoy the moment. Then get back to work with clear eyes and a quiet ego.

Success is not the spike but your stability at the top.
