Hey there, I'm Evan 👋🏻 Professionally, I've been on both sides of the table in the software world. For first 7 years of my career I was a startup founder and operator in B2B SaaS, primarily focused on edtech and sales/marketing tech. Since then, I've been learning and building in the world of venture capital and growth equity. The common thread in my career is my passion for technology and entrepreneurship. I joined Georgian in 2019 to create and launch the CoLab, Georgian's nurture program for early-stage startups. My role expanded in 2020 to lead our business development and deal sourcing function overall, working closely with our data science team to evolve our deal sourcing engine. In 2021 I took on a new role to build out Georgian's fundraising and investor relations team. I'm fortunate to work closely with our existing and prospective investors, and I'm focused on taking Georgian's LP experience to the next level with a digital-first mindset. Personally, I'm an athlete and sports fan (hockey, skiing, golf, MMA, you name it) and an amateur but enthusiastic musician. I also spend as much time outdoors hiking and camping as I possibly can.
