As a firm believer in the power of innovation and growth, I am always eager to explore new methodologies like AI, VR, and AR for project management. With over 30 years of experience in project and portfolio planning and project controls across various disciplines, organizations, and markets, I have gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field. In addition to my extensive professional experience, I also serve as a lecturer at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences, where I am proud to be a promotor of the planning and project management profession. By sharing my expertise and insights with the next generation of professionals, I hope to inspire a new wave of innovative and effective planning and project management professionals. Furthermore, I founded the Dutch Planning and Scheduling Institute (SPIN) in 2011 and continue to serve as its chairman. Our mission is to improve the knowledge and quality of planning and scheduling in the Netherlands, and I am honored to play a role in driving this important work forward.
