I am responsible for Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolic, Neuroscience and Immunology franchise medical activities in Estonia.

Medical Science Liaison

As a CTC my main responsibility was to handle and review clinical monitoring documentations. Additionally, I provided technical and administrative support to project teams, assisted with PPD investigator file reviews, processed regulatory documents, managed system data entries and maintained data repositories. On top of that I prepared communications to sites and provided them with essential information when necessary.

Assisted with site feasibility questionnaire completion, patient recruitment activities and prepared recruitment materials for ethics committees.

Intern

Charles River Laboratories

During my placement I developed and screened an assay for compounds to treat pulmonary artery hypertension (PAH). 
Transferable skills: problem solving, data analysis, time management, ability to present scientific data, detail-oriented, work well as part of a team but also independently.
I have learnt and developed multiple laboratory skills like cell culture techniques, compound handling, measuring the protein of interest with MSD MULTI-ARRAY technology, quantification of protein with BCA assay method, identification of a protein in smooth muscle cells with western blot technique, treating cells under hypoxic conditions, developed CellTiter-Glo and Hoechst assay for endothelial cells, operation of liquid handling robots (Biomek, Integra Viaflo) and IncuCyte.

Trainee Scientific Assistant

University of Tartu

I was an intern in the Department of Microbiology in  Institute of Biomedicine and Translational Medicine in University of Tartu. I assisted research scientists with genotyping samples from Estonian hospitals that were infected with rotavirus. During my internship I developed skills which included generating complementary DNA from rotavirus RNA, also learned to carry out PCR and gel electrophoresis.
Transferable skills: multi-task, think strategically and priorities, take and follow directions given by supervisors.  
Abstract of the research was presented at the Annual Meeting of the European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID 2019).

European Youth Parliament 

I was a delegate in 16th Estonian National Forum in committee on Industry, Research and Energy. Me and my team had to come up and present a resolution on how EU should regulate and acknowledge the issues that occur with the usage of biophotonics to increase the population's life expectancy.

I received a scholarship for the Leadership Academy Global Entrepreneurship program where I required the knowledge how to develop a business plan and how to use and improve my leadership skills.
