Willmott Dixon

I completed my year out Quantity Surveying placement with Willmott Dixon on the £65,000,000  job New Headington Hill Development for Oxford Brookes University. I was responsible for the procurement and management of many complex packages with values up to £500,000. Alongside the packages, I was also responsible for inputting into the Cost to Complete and CVR, KPIs, PO and invoicing systems, and the costing and procurement of provisionals sums with values up to £800,000.

Galliford Try

Completed a placement at Galliford Try, working on the South West Water K7 Framework. Over the placement I was mainly preparing the final accounts for an upcoming audit and providing the correct information needed. I also learnt how to prepare sub-contracts and assisted commercials managers in their forecasting.

I completed my first Quantity Surveying placement. Worked alongside the Commercial Manager assisting in putting together and giving presentations, preparing Sub-Contracts and expanding my excel skills
