Today my focus is giving back what I can, when I can, to who I can, to ensure I pass on what I have received in this life. During a 40+ year career in business, I set out to lead with the idea that we have a moral and social responsibility to offer Education, Experiences, and Equity to Entrepreneurial owners and their leadership teams. From Entrepreneurial ventures in both hardware and software development as owner, to Nasdaq companies as a CEO, I filled several roles in engineering, manufacturing, and sales. As an owner and design engineer it resulted in several award-winning products. As owner of a software company, developed an award winning MRP system. As CEO of Tallgrass Technologies (KPERS) restored company to profitability and facilitated sale to Exabyte (Nasdaq). As V.P. Marketing for Exabyte grew distribution to $165 million, profits grew 60% and stock rose from $6.00 -$22.00 a share. As CEO of Rexon Business Machines (Nasdaq) led company out of bankruptcy, raised $32 Million through a public offering, rebranded company, and products. In 2000 I successfully funded, designed, developed, marketed, and sold an executive residential community and Equine facility. Provided consulting as an owner’s representative for area development projects. Provided consulting to banks to dispose of non-performing assets during the recession. With a life changing event in 2014 I became selective about my time, treasures, talents, and focus on helping Entrepreneurial leadership teams bring their visions to life. There is no shortage of creativity in today’s entrepreneurial leaders each reflecting inventive, outrageous, out-of- the-box, and potentially game-changing ideas. I invest my Education, Experience, and Equity into these entrepreneurs by investing in their Soul Value. In turn their Equity will create the shareholder value that everyone strives for, it is a winning formula for success.
