I'm Fatoumata Diallo, over the past 7+ years; I have successfully coordinated and delivered large-scale projects, including working with multiple FTSE500 clients. I have been involved in organizing and speaking at notable conferences and summits, including the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (New York) and Geneva, African Union (Addis Ababa), Women Economic Forum (New Delhi), and Westminster Houses of Parliament (London). In 2022, I took part in the planning and execution of the largest-ever Belgian Economic Mission to the UK, boosting over 200 participants, led by Her Royal Highness Princess Astrid of Belgium. At IMAGINE, our team delivered two side events at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting in Davos in collaboration with Fortune Media Corporation and the Financial Times. Outside of my professional endeavours, I am actively involved in various organizations. I serve as a Board Member at the National Alliance of Women's Organizations (NAWO) and currently, acting Chairperson of the Samuel Lithgow Youth Centre (SLYC). Additionally, I am a Co-opted Member of the Housing Scrutiny Committee for the London Borough of Camden. After years of working in the corporate world, NGO and events management space, I realise that what I love the most is connecting with people and culture through food. Having grown up in a community where sharing food was deeply ingrained, I witnessed firsthand the power of this tradition to bring people together, transcending borders and cultures. This love led me to create GAMAAL, rooted in a passion for connecting people through the transformative power of food, fostering cultural connections and unity. GAMAAL is more than just a food app, it is a movement towards a healthier, happier, and more connected world.
