• Dispatch/mobilize emergency response team upon receiving emergency calls within 
the hospital. 
• Equal coordination with Emergency Management Team in all colour code emergency 
situation both verbal and in written. 
• Activation of “Emergency Bridge line” to maintain effective and timely 
communication between all stakeholder during the emergency code alert. 
• Cascade emergency alert of “DOH Medical Operations Command” within the team 
both verbally and via email to make them alert for appropriate response. 
• Communicate with external govt authorities (police, civil defence) in the event of 
emergency (code black, real fire, hostage situation). 
• Communication with Hassantak (Fire Protection System Abu Dhabi) to maintain Fire 
Life Safety (FLS) of the organization. 
• As a certified Helipad Landing Officer (HLO) maintain radio communication with 
airwing authorities (govt & private) for helicopter landing both in medical and nonmedical
landing to ensure safe helipad operation. 
• Operate and response to all emergency equipment’s/devices installed inside control 
room to maintain safe and secure environment of hospital. 
• Investigate all safety related incidents/accidents to determine root and surface causes 
to share a final report with relevant department. 
• Email communication within the facility and outside to maintain smooth operation.
▪ Compile and share emergency event report and “After Action Report” with hospital higher
management. Actively participating in incident debriefings to identify gaps and area of 
improvement. Implement and follow-ups on assigned corrective actions.
• Maintain report of all incidents/emergency situations in Incident Management 
System to prepare and share weekly and monthly reports to share with department 
management. 
• Report HSE accidents /incident on organizational RL system. 
• Share inspection report of fire suppression system all around the facility based on unit 
to unit on weekly basis.
