Responsibilities:
• Set the European reporting calendar and coordinate activities with European Divisional and Country Finance leaders and the Amsterdam Finance Center/ Warsaw Finance Center to ensure we hit US group and corporate targets and deadlines

Financial Director, Financial Planning and Analysis, Europe

Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end integration process and activities for Finance teams from initial development of integration plans with milestones and timelines required to achieve deal specific value and synergies, to execution of the tactical plans, to providing a clear roadmap for ongoing ownership to complete the integration
• Lead the valuation on significant acquisitions and acts as a liaison between internal valuation experts and the external audit team. Drive the analysis and financial due diligence processes to measure the performance of proposed acquisitions and/or business opportunities
• Facilitate audit requests from external auditors supporting purchase accounting and provide support for any external reporting requirements of the transaction
• Plan and execute acquired entity integration and related internal controls
• Assess significant accounting practices of target companies
• Conduct interviews with target’s Finance and management team during due diligence and serve as a key contact through integration
• Build and develop Finance’s M&A Integration approach, partnering with leaders across the organization to drive execution and efficiency

Financial Director, Mergers and Acquisitions & Integrations, EMEA

Responsibilities:
• Work with business unit leadership team to grow the business by formulating appropriate financial strategies and plans. Support the identification of market opportunities. Determine business strategy to seize market opportunities both organically and through business development (e.g. acquisitions)
• Close involvement in analysis of product development and business development activities
• Liaise with countries and FP&A Europe to understand root causes of financial results, investigation of budget variances and formulation of recovery plans
• Lead and manage the annual budgeting and monthly financial projection processes. Provide details for expense trends, marketing events and activities, demos and other investments
• Prepares and interprets operating results as they affect the financial aspects of the progress to financial goals and objectives: analyze variances between actual and expected financial results. Present monthly financials to Divisional management
• Partner with Europe FP&A in the implementation of accounting guidelines and ensure all Company policies are adhered to within the business unit. Responsibility for the business unit complying with all other applicable financial laws and regulations, company policies and corrective actions
• Directly participate in the accounting cycle and the preparation of financial documents/statements
• Participates in the setting of overall business unit and departmental goals and priorities. Evaluates direct reports' performance based on those goals and priorities

Responsibilities:
• Maintaining and improving financial models for analyzing and forecasting revenue, operating expenses, and cash flow
• Providing recommendations for cost-saving opportunities based on actual and forecasted expenditures
• Collaborating with the International Leadership team to develop strategies for profitable growth
• Creating a bottoms-up revenue forecasting model with the help of the commercial team and country sales leaders

Volunteering at Instituto Dara in São Paulo, Brazil, has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I have been able to assist in many of the Institute's initiatives, from organizing fundraising campaigns to accompanying students and their families on visits to potential universities. I have also had the opportunity to teach classes on financial literacy and help in the development of Dara's online platform. Additionally, I have been able to participate in research and data analysis to help the Institute better understand the needs of its beneficiaries.

I am especially proud of the work I have done in helping to expand the Institute's network of partners and sponsors. I have been able to reach out to universities, businesses, and organizations to help generate resources and promote Dara's initiatives. Through this work I have gained invaluable experience in networking, public relations, and communication.
