An early involvement in technology and commercial activity formed the foundation for my desire to get an understanding of the legal, economic and social implications to the digitalization of private and public life. I am particularly interested in the discussion on how to balance the increased collection and processing of (personal) data that is almost unimpeded by traditional frameworks, such as national borders, with commercial interests that are being influenced by innovation.
