Position (50%) as a Market Coordinator Buildings for Rambøll Norway. Coordinating large submissions, projects, collaborations and responsible for strategic planning towards the Buildings market.

Market Coordinator Buildings

Responsible for a team of engineers working within the field of building physics and Energy. Development, project management and consulting engineering within the field of building physics. Special focus on building damages, passive houses, detailing, architectural competitions, facade design and solutions. 

Our team is one of the leading building physics teams in Norway and is working on many projects in Norway the past few years. We have been involved in the new sustainable hotell in Trondheim (20 st), extension of the FRAM centre in Tromsø, passive house office buildings, kindergardens, several bathing and swimming pools, as well as larger housing developments.

I am responsible for the development of the team and business, tenders, client relations, quality supervision and managing personell. We are working with many different architects and also clients from abroad.

The company Næss Arkitektkontor was bought by LINK, and was together with Svingen Arkitekter integrated into the new company LINK Signatur AS. The work at the office proceeded as usuall.

In the beginning of 2002 Næss Arkitektkontor was started by Gunnar Næss from Lusparken. We developed the new company with these years to be one of the leading within 3D ArchiCAD usage. Our tools were "home made" spesicially for projects. I was mainly involved in all stages of the projects, from sketch design to details. The main references were the new Conference and Cinema refurbishment in Trondheim and the design of new appartment in old heritage houses. The last project was developed based on a highly detailled 3D measurement and object made in ArchiCAD to convert measurement data to objects.

Lusparken arkitekter as

During my period working for Lusparken, have I worked on many different type of projects and during all stages. I have participated with the delivery of several architectural competitions like the Bergen Studentcentre. The main projects I have worked on were the refurbishment of Folkets Hus in Trondheim, Hommelvik School and Tromsø Courthouse. My main task were detaildesign of projects.

Managing Director of my own company during my study period. The works delivered consisted of small houses, villa's, extensions to dwellings, teaching CAD at local high school, rendering and 3D images, free-lance work at several architectural companies in the Netherland. The company was closed when I moved to Norway during summer 2000.

I am the head of department for specialist services buildings at Ramboll, a leading engineering and consultancy company with a global presence. I have been in this role for two years, leading a team of over 30 specialists in building physics, acoustics, and fire engineering. I hold a master's degree in building technology from TU Eindhoven and DTU, and a certification from RIF, the Association of Consulting Engineers in Norway.

My passion is to create and implement innovative solutions for sustainable design, energy efficiency, and building performance. I have more than 15 years of experience in the field, working on projects ranging from passive house, ZEB, renovation and listed buildings, large cooling and freezing storages, and swimming pools. I have also collaborated with international partners from the UK, China, Poland, and the Baltic region. I enjoy working with architects and engineers who share my vision of pushing the boundaries of sustainable architecture.
