I work as the CTO for Umbraco CMS. Previously I've worked as the CTO of Colibo, the head of Technology at IMPACT, and as senior- and lead developer at Skybrud.dk (now Limbo), Wildside A/S, and as a freelancer. Since 2016 I've been part of Google Developers Experts-program (see more under honors and awards below). My GDE-title is a recognition of my web tech expertise and of my passion and ability to share it with the developer community - mainly through public speaking (60+ events and counting). I'm passionate about the endless possibilities and potential of the web, but also about the synergy of skilled professionals working together. I love it when great individuals come together and make outstanding products that expands the reach of the web. I love working with cutting edge technologies and try to make rapid prototypes to test out the potential of it. I appreciate taking the time to learn new methodologies and frameworks to be able to evaluate what bests suits a given situation. I’m excited about pushing the limits of the platform (the browser) and what is thought of as possible. I am very analytical and data-focused but have learnt the value and exercised the skill of a quick assertion. I prefer agile teams, where a task is completed with the combined efforts of the team and where the decision making is fast. Concerned with the future of our growing business, I feel very strongly about the need to share knowledge and train colleagues and peers. I write blogs and give talks at conferences and user-groups and organize a local user-group – AarhusJS. Passionate (hobby-) cyclist and foosball-player, happily married to Ditte, house-owner and father of three boys (Christoffer, Oliver & Lucas).
