1 of 5 NABCEP Globally Accredited Organizations in the State of VA and 1 of 2 in the State of GA that train and certify eligibility for the NABCEP Solar PV Associate Exam. FLIPP Inc is a majority BIPOC led 501c3 nonprofit. It was co-founded by me, a black, female, service-connected disabled veteran; but more importantly, a justice-impacted individual. Our main office sits approximately 1.5 miles from two Virginia Correctional Centers (Buckingham and Dillwyn) and is also located in a HubZone. We train targeted priority groups of historically disadvantaged citizens 1. Justice-Impacted, 2. BIPOC, 3. Transitioning Veterans, 4. Women & 5. Youth in skilled trades to create a ready workforce pipeline for “high demand” careers that will aid in their successful re-entry, develop productive citizens and lead to lasting self-sufficiency.
