Forward Partners is an investment studio that nurtures start-up ecommerce companies such as Thread.com, AppearHere, Wool and the gang, Lost My Name and Spoke. 

As a designer at Forward Partners I worked from concept to delivery with startups to launch a variety of ecommerce brands - from fashion to health and lifestyle. Working as AGILE as possible, I supported startups through the UX stages, design sprints, branding workshops, responsive website designs, print and social campaigns to reach a beautiful product that would boost their conversions and user engagement.

As project manager it was my job to oversee all elements of the design, brand and build of the graduate portfolio platform. The role varied from setting briefs for other students through to testing the site and the user experience over all.

During my internship at Class Creative I learnt many new skills. I worked with a number of new clients from Birmingham Future through to Style Chemistry, producing wireframes, designing and ad hoc maintenance for existing clients. As I was studying for the final year of my degree and project managing WGC at the same time, I definitely learnt how to juggle my time.

During my time at Cogent Ellliott I was welcomed into the amazing building and team with open arms. By far one of the the biggest studio's I've ever been into it was very interesting to see how it differed from a smaller structure. I worked on a number of briefs whilst at Cogent, from Halfords and KwikFit through to The Mailbox.

Graphic Design Intern

One Black Bear

At One Black Bear I worked on a number of briefs for some of the top car brands such as Isuzu and Suburu. From creating mobile and iPad app's through to producing flash MPU's, designing for a live client with a set brief helped further strengthen my skills as a designer.

Here I worked on the strategy and design on a number of live briefs, from the design concepts for a top boarding school through to a health and fitness app proposal. I learnt so much in the two weeks about the industry and it's safe to say I enjoyed every second of it!
