Those who know me know I’m an open book. I lead by vulnerability, seek opportunities for growth, listen to understand and show my team I’ve got their backs—that is what has taken me from IT to sales to general management. Coming from a family touched too often by chronic illness, it’s a great privilege to put my tenacity and positivity towards changing the way healthcare is delivered for patients who are so much more than their diseases. As VP and General Manager of PBM Care Management for CVS Health, I lead a team 850-strong to develop market solutions that drive behavioral change and provide holistic support by applying emerging technologies like AI, data and predictive modeling. I enjoy taking the impossible and making it possible. That’s why, together with my teams, I am so proud of accomplishments from a decade with CVS like: ✔️ Leading transformative initiatives in IT, sales & account management and portfolio general management. ✔️ Launching 3 new products in 1 year, attracting 1,000+ employer, health plan & government clients. ✔️ Driving a significant increase in patient adherence through a data-science and predictive- analytics-based approach to identify SDoH in at-risk populations. ✔️ Decreasing hospitalizations and saving clients ~$2K annually per member through Accordant services. ✔️ Piloting a weight management program with 700k lives to shift behavioral outcomes through nutrition support and consolidated patient experience ✔️ Forming a strategic partnership and GTM strategy for diabetes that tripled the number of lives reached and increased revenue in 1 sales season ✔️ Exceeding sales goals with double-digit YOY revenue growth, 95% client retention & 98%+ customer satisfaction. ✔️ Restructuring 3 functional areas, growing one by 4X and saving 10% in labor costs for another. ✔️ Completing the integrations of 2 acquisitions while scaling operations improving customer satisfaction. My mentor’s career advice: take opportunities as they come – so I push myself to pay it forward! Transformations are collective works, the result of using strengths, identifying weaknesses, and working to be agile. Developing the talent of my team is one of the biggest joys of my career. Lastly, I’ve discovered that I’ve come to love speaking about advances in healthcare.
