- Working with a leading investment bank. Partnering with the senior HR Leaders and the global HR department, on a transformation to more agile ways of working.

Feb 2019 - December 2019
- Working with a client (leading non bank lender) to help with the transformation to a new way of working. Reshaping the organisation to introduce greater levels of agility, and ways of measuring the success of this.  
- Coaching the CIO and the leadership team on the required mindset shift, "Leaders go first".
- Created a 2 day training course on agile, and lean, and travelled to the Manila, Philippines office to deliver to the technology and leadership teams based there.
- Assisted with the recruitment of new roles to support the ongoing sustainability of the changes.
- Set up and coached small, autonomous, self organising teams to support the new way of working

Senior Consultant - Agile Coach

Macquarie Group

In Risk Management Group, managing a multi year program of work within Credit Risk, to transform and enhance the operating model.   A blend of regulatory and strategic objectives.

As part of the full transformation to Agile, I transitioned from Program Manager to Scrum Master, across multiple teams, providing both team, and organisation level coaching on the new ways of working.

Utilizing Design Thinking in a collaborative approach with business stakeholders.

Senior IT Program Manager / Scrum Master

Commonwealth Bank

Accountable for introducing and implementing a project portfolio management framework.  Creation, and management of a rolling 12 month delivery Roadmap with associated Pipeline Register (Initiatives Backlog), introduction and embedding of a full RACI matrix. 

Creation of a Project Management Office (PMO) type environment to facilitate this.

Introduced, and chaired, the Business Banking Change Forum with the General Manager and the Leadership team.

Responsible for raising the knowledge, and awareness of colleagues across the Business Banking Sales, Service, and Support teams in the application of project management processes and disciplines.

Managed the Business Banking Broker & Agency instance of Salesforce, and the relationship with Salesforce.

Supported the Business Banking Future Leaders program as a project and organisational change management specialist.

Accountability for the Business & Private Bank Continuous Improvement program, run by one of my team members.  This included the transition to a new technology platform.

Integration Project Manager on one of Australia's largest SAP integration programs.

Extensive 3rd party supplier and vendor management with Deloittes and E&Y.

RaboDirect Australia

Accountable, end to end, for all RaboDirect Australia core banking system releases and enhancements. This includes delivery, via a quarterly Release Management process, of the whole online banking experience, including product enhancements, customer experience improvements, system maintenance, process improvements, and business as usual "keeping the lights on" changes.

Responsible for the Mobile App upgrades and enhancements, via both an agile and waterfall delivery methodology. Coordinating both onshore and offshore vendors and stakeholders.

Also responsible for project delivery of all compliance initiatives (FOFA, FATCA, AML/CTF, Unclaimed Monies), both the system delivery, and ensuring a smooth transition into the relevant business areas and the new target operating models.

Leadership - direct team management of business analysts, testers and support staff. Member of the RaboDirect Leadership Team.

Accountable for a number of projects, including:
 - installation of digital signage for classrooms and training rooms throughout the campus

I have one final client workshop delivery today and then I am out of the office.

😌 It has felt a long year and the upcoming holiday is just what I need to rest, recharge, and reflect.

❤️ As a coach working with amazing humans, I always share that what will keep them amazing is by having a balance that suits their lifestyle.

⚖️ A balance that includes doing the work you love AND not doing the work you love. 

The body needs breaks. And if you don't schedule one the body will schedule it for you, and it won't be at a convenient time.

✍🏻 As I wrap up and the end of today, doing what I love, the pens, the reMarkable, and the laptop 💻 are going away for a few weeks.

📚 I have a biography of Leonard Cohen packed and some Agatha Christie downloaded to the Kindle. ✈️ And a boarding pass for my flight. I'm all set.
