I am a social scientist and university professor in entrepreneurship and innovation. I teach entrepreneurship and innovation-related courses to Bachelor's, Master's, and MBA students at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In my research, I study how individuals concerned with introducing novel products and strategies (e.g., entrepreneurs) make sense of their strategies and communicate them to others. Within this context, my research explores systematic approaches (e.g., rational experimentation) and discursive tactics that can help people and companies be more effective in framing their strategies for themselves and others.
