I am a molecular and cell biologist with over 8 years of experience in cancer biology, immunology, and bioinformatics. As a published scientist, I excel at combining cutting-edge techniques, mouse models, and data analysis to drive impactful discoveries in translational medicine. My research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms governing cancer progression, immune system regulation, and cellular metabolism. I have explored how transcriptional regulation shapes tumor development, influences cellular plasticity, and contributes to drug resistance in cancer. With a strong foundation in cancer biology, immunology, and bioinformatics, I integrate high-throughput genomics, molecular biology, and computational approaches to uncover key regulatory networks. My work bridges basic and translational research, aiming to identify novel biomarkers and therapeutic targets that can drive advancements in oncology. Mentoring and collaboration are at the heart of what I do. I’ve had the privilege of guiding more than 15 Master’s and PhD students, helping them achieve their goals while fostering a culture of curiosity and innovation. I also bring strong technical skills, including bioinformatics (RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, TCGA analysis), genetic manipulation, and advanced imaging techniques. Currently, as a postdoctoral fellow at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, I am passionate about leveraging my expertise to solve complex scientific challenges, optimize workflows, and contribute to cutting-edge discoveries.
