SUNDAY MEDITATION
God is making us wait? Celebrate. Are doors closing? Give thanks. If God is delaying things, seek Him more. For His thoughts are higher than ours.  His ways are far greater than our plans. He is making us wait for a purpose. Our prayers are sometimes answered without us realizing it or in ways that we did not ask for, but God’s plan is always better than ours.

Good experiences may have taught us well, but negative experiences actually teach us better—as long as we learn from them. So, whatever you are going through today, reframe your thinking. Instead of saying this is something bad I never wanted to experience, consider it a vital lesson designed to make us learn so we can become better.

Practice gratitude and be mindful of the present. This expands our happiness range and helps us develop emotional growth and resilience. When approached this way, you will have to agree that happiness is a choice and discipline, not just an uncontrollable emotional response. This is also why we have been advised: "In everything, GIVE THANKS!"

Have you ever dealt with people who cheat in business, thinking they are shrewd and clever? Look at their track record. This style is not sustainable. In today’s society, looking good and feeling good often trumps doing good and being good. And some people no longer know the difference. And yet the loneliest people in the world are those who have achieved fame, notoriety, wealth, exhausted pleasure and come away empty. The hole in the heart is real, and it takes God to fill that vacuum so that one can live and achieve a life of fullness and meaning. #PassionPurposeProductivity

You cannot hurry yourself to love and neither can you hurry yourself to sleep. Neither can you hurry yourself to success. My favorite philosopher Dr. Dallas Willard says we have to ruthlessly eliminate hurry in our life. And you will be surprised that by doing so, we actually accomplish more of the good. #PassionPurposeProductivity

Our past does not define us; it merely informs our present reality. We move forward with greater clarity and purpose by embracing personal development and accepting all aspects of ourselves, including our past negative experiences. Be intentional in seeking personal growth. Through mastering our thoughts and behaviors, we can tap into our God-given potential and live lives of meaning and fulfillment.  #PassionPurposeProductivity

SUNDAY MEDITATION
We spend so much time sweating the small stuff, worrying, complaining, comparing, wishing, wanting, and waiting for something bigger and better. Instead of focusing on the simple blessings that surround us every day. Life is so fragile; it takes a simple moment to change everything we take for granted. Focus on what’s important and be grateful. We are blessed. Live our lives and leave no regrets. Focus on the Blesser and not just the blessings.

It's not just talent; it's not spurts of inspiration or motivation; 
it's consistency. In fact, consistency is more valuable than genius. This why time is the friend of the consistent and the enemy of the inconsistent.

The story says that one day a great man told his followers, 'There are 2 things in life that matter above all else - Integrity if you've made a promise, you carry it out, even if it bankrupts you, cripples you or kills you. The other thing is common sense, like not making that promise'. The lesson is not to make promises you cannot keep. Many people did and are thus perceived as untrustworthy people without integrity. #PassionPurposeProductivity

Self-improvement is the natural byproduct of consistently taking actions that feel bad now but good later. Waking up on time.  Eating that healthy meal. Doing that hard workout. Doing that focused work. Having that hard conversation, etc.   All of these things are painful before you start (and during), but you feel great after you finish. (anon) #PassionPurposeProductivity

We live in a world of uncertainties. Change happens too fast. Even change is changing and accelerating. This brings us to a state of anxiety because the things that are changing are outside our control. What we can do is this: When you know what's coming, PREPARE. When you don't know what's coming, POSITION. Call me an eternal optimist, but I am positioning myself to explore and exploit new opportunities that will open up when disruptions happen. And I will share more of this strategy in my forthcoming public seminar on May 15.    #PassionPurposeProductivity
