I discovered my passion for marketing early on, helping my dad raise awareness for his Italian Café. Even as a kid, I was full of ideas to promote the business, always fascinated by commercials and how they communicated to audiences. At eighteen, I gained hands-on experience working for a marketing research firm, where I learned how businesses conduct market research. This inspired me to pursue a Business Marketing and Marketing Research degree at Algonquin College. After graduating, I was ready to take my skills global. At twenty-five, I moved to Hangzhou, China, where I immersed myself in the local culture and business strategies. While there, I spearheaded a hockey program from scratch in a city where the sport was virtually unknown. Through social media, editing apps, and content creation, I built a brand and community around hockey, working with ex-Chinese pros, NHL summer camps, and equipment manufacturers. What started as a small idea became a thriving program for children, teens, and adults, uniting locals and expats alike. My passion for content creation and digital marketing continued to grow during my time in China. I worked with local businesses, helping them develop marketing strategies to engage expats and locals. I learned how to use technology and social media to elevate brand awareness, drive traffic, and create opportunities that made a real impact. After spending eight years in China, I returned to Canada and launched a blog, podcast, and YouTube series, sharing insights on marketing, social media, and business. Today, I use my expertise to help companies with content creation, scripting, editing, and repurposing content to build brand awareness and drive traffic.
