His journey would begin in the mid-90’s, with an A&R management role for his best friend, Snoop Dogg’s Protege, Jamarr “Badazz” Stamps, from the LBC Crew. Badazz, known for his infamous verse on Tupac’s legendary song, “Krazy” off of Tupac’s last album, Makaveli, that was certified 4x’s Platinum. Being heavily involved within the music scene led Frank Nitty to his next calling, breaking down color barriers when division within the Black & Brown Hip-Hop community was at an all time high. A natural born leader laser-focused on his goal, the hard work paid off - by being responsible for merging 90% of the mainstream features you hear between Black & Brown artists on songs together between 2000-2009. A few of these collaborations include (but not limited to): * Mr. Capone-E feat. Twista * Mr. Criminal feat. Nate Dogg * Down AKA “Kilo” feat. Snoop Dogg * Royal T feat. Bizzy Bone He’s worked with Legendary artists such as: Snoop Dogg, WC, Mack10, CrookedI, RBX, Fat Joe, Kurupt, E-40, Too Short, MC Ren, Mc Eiht, Jayo Felony, Nipsey Hussle, Spice One, Kokane, Brotha Lynch Hung, Lady of Rage, Sylk-E Fine, Suga Free, Kam, Twista, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone & the list goes on. Frank Nitty would also take on the A&R role helping Down AKA “Kilo” with strategic guidance on his 1st album self entitled, “California Cowboys”, that broke Unity barriers by having the most Hiphop Legends on 1 album. That led to the biggest record in Chicano rap history with the song, “Lean Like a Cholo” that sold over 1 million ringtones & charted on Billboard hot 100 peaking at #34 in 2007.
