Cisco Systems

Responsibility for the solution management team of US public sector solutions (education, healthcare, defense, public safety), sales enablement activities, sales calls, partnerships with ISVs and funnel management. Increased revenue on solutions within the first year by ~200% through focus and targeted enablement/sales calls.

Director US Public Sector Solutions

Led the corporate marketing teams for government and education with a team of 15 direct reports and approx. 30 indirect people who were supporting our activities. Marketing budget responsibility of approx. 5 M USD. Lots of fun especially in 2009 where I was responsible for the ARRA marketing activities which resulted in $200M of bookings for Cisco. My team launched several "firsts": Cisco's Open Architecture for Public Safety, Connected Government, Lecture/Capture, CCDC and many others.

Director Worldwide Public Sector Marketing

Started as bus dev manager for central government and ended up with team responsibility for all public sector verticals across government, education, defense and healthcare. Mission was to enable the field in vertical relevant conversations, initiate pilot projects, engage in strategic project, build partnerships and drive marketing activities.

Senior Manager Business Development for EMEA/LATAM

Led the sales team (12+) which covered all Federal and state government agencies across Germany including all defense and intelligence agencies. The team celebrated major wins such as the Bundestag, Toll Collect, eleven out of the 16 state networks and many other agencies. Facilitated a close dialogue between our customers with regular thought-leadership events.

Regional Sales Manager Public Sector

Responsibility for universities, hospitals and government agencies. Won four out of five state networks with MPLS during a time when it was still proprietary and not even carriers dared to implement it. Customers saw the beauty of lowering their network expenses by implementing MPLS. Many customers adopted Cisco as a strategic partner during my tenure.

Account Manager Government / Education

Responsibility for pre-sales activities (workshops, presentations, proof of concept installations) for enterprise customers (retail, manufacturing, media, public sector) across the Northern part of Germany. These were still multi-protocol times: IP, IPX, Banyan Vines, SNA, DECnet, X.25 and others.

Systems Engineer

As the SVP EMEA at Infoblox, I lead a sales team of over 130 professionals across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, delivering innovative solutions in network architecture, cloud computing, and cybersecurity. I have been with Infoblox since 2015, starting as the Senior Director and GM Central Europe, and have consistently achieved high growth rates, new logos, and customer satisfaction.

My mission is to create value for our customers, partners, and stakeholders by leveraging my extensive experience in sales development, relationship building, solution-led sales, and cross-functional collaboration. I have a strong background in telecommunications, data center, wireless, and virtualization, and a deep understanding of the vertical trends and challenges in government, healthcare, and education. I am passionate about empowering my team, fostering a culture of excellence, and driving profitable ARR growth across EMEA.
