- I designed and led the implementation of a scalable service to expand the AddToCart feature on the Search page to 90% of the Search Traffic
- I led multiple iterations of expansion of AddToCart feature in Search page, amounting to over $1bn yearly revenue
- I was part of the design review group of the large InTech organization, contributing to technical designs from any team in the org

- Designed and built a new page template coordinating with 3 partner teams,
integrating in 2 services and managing our own infrastructure.
- Designed and led an iteration with small and CX changes of a 1M daily impressions layout toggle
- Implemented read use case and GDPR compliance for new service supporting high requests/s (20k avg, 45k max)
- Unblocked a project getting wrong business data for 1 month caused by a bug in network retries in another service
- Reduced with an in-memory cache the backend latency of a 1-column mobile layout for hardlines from +2ms to -13ms
- Wrote a postmortem on the importance of finding/asking for clear API specifications of APIs you consume

I'm a Software Development Engineer at Amazon. 

1:1s with my managers were not enough for me to explore all the career topics I care about. So I decided to start writing.

I jumped on AI writing code "too early".

First AI output was messy. I didn't know how to use it and the technology wasn't there yet.

People challenged AI a lot. Some even said AI only generates garbage code... now they are the first using AI because otherwise they'd get fired.

But the signals were clear: this tech was only going to get stronger. Fast forward, companies now expect AI fluency, or they'll fire you.

If you see the trend repeating, don’t quit because the first few attempts fail. 

Build small wins, iterate, and let adoption catch up.

Don’t wait for the perfect moment to learn something new. Try it, iterate and get better at it.

We all agree that constant notifications while trying to work are killing your focus. AI is doing the same.

While the model generates code, you feel productive checking Slack or emails.
But that’s not focus, that’s fragmentation.

I saw this clearly when, instead of understanding my service, I spammed AI with new prompts, hoping it would fix it.

AI speed hides your real bottleneck: your brain.

🔹 Use the pause to think about what you expect next
🔹 Keep small “micro chores” ready that don’t break context
🔹 Treat AI as a peer, not a machine to delegate all thinking

We’ve entered the era where your service won’t talk to a user first, it’ll talk to another agent.

Most teams are still wiring Model Context Protocol servers that only expose tools.
But the next step is giving agents autonomy and a shared language.

🔹 It defines how agents exchange tasks, report results, and negotiate schemas.

I learned this after a training at work on agent-to-agent communication.
The lightbulb moment was realizing for our usecase, we didn’t need a tool server, we needed a peer agent that could take a task and collaborate.

Sometimes, my day filled up before you even started coding.

Slack pings. Review requests. Random asks.
By noon, I had worked on five things and finished none.

Traditional advice says “set boundaries” or “just say no”.

That doesn’t work inside a team.

You don’t need more boundaries. You need a system.

↳ Let people push tasks into a visible backlog
↳ Pull only what aligns with impact and goals
↳ Make your queue visible to your manager

I started doing this last year.

Suddenly, my calendar was cleaner, and my manager could see exactly what I was working on.

People stopped throwing random tasks at me. They added them to the queue.

That’s the push-pull system.
