Business Development Manager

Having learnt VoIP and Sales, and slowly gaining some management experience I was introduced to Simwood who were in the same industry also looking to grow with some ambitious growth plans I moved across as their Sales Manager where I spent 7 years. The Gradwell sales team at the time of promotion had two teams, a channel partner team which consisted of desk based account managers and some regional ‘road warriors’ and a second internal team for direct customers. We had a team of 9 split between these two functions.

After 10+ years at Virgin, I was approached to work in an area which was new to me ‘Sales’ as well as ‘VoIP’ both were alien. But both were exciting to me. I went on to learn new skills which at the time of writing 8 years later I’m still working with.   Key Skills included:
