From 2006 to 2019, I have been working and developing applications on Next Generation Sequencing Data on Cancer genomics and Mendelian diseases. At the beginning of 2018, I joined the HalioDx company as a Data Analyst in a Biostatitic/Bioinformatic group to manage several projects on gene expression data on Cancer studies. I am principally involved in Single-Cell RNA-seq analysis. Reporting and Communication with customers are key points on my position. I developed strong skills in Data visualization based on R and python programming experience. In Spring 2016, I joined the Inserm U1065 lab as an Bioinformatician Analyst to manage projects on gene expression profiles on Cancer studies. I developed pipelines from the definition of the analysis to the interpretation of the results. Principally based on meta-analysis (RNAseq, ChipSeq, DNAseq and scRNAseq), I tested and validated hypothesis with lab scientists. I co-tutored a Master2 student during six months. At The University of Washington, I have been involved in several projects for the Center for Mendelian Genomics. I have analyzed several mendelian diseases, performing quality checks on Whole-Genome and Whole-Exome Sequencing cohort. I have developed several pipelines for single gene diseases. I particularly be involved on a Progeria-like syndrome analysis and first authored a paper on this study. At CRS4, my primary focus has been to setup a whole genome-sequencing platform to analyze specific genetic variations on the Sardinian population.Our sequencing team developed and integrated specific tools for variant calling analysis on NGS data. I developed good skills on programming for large-scale data analysis. I spearheaded several next- generation DNA-sequencing projects and optimized several approach and programs to optimize performance. Throughout my career, I have been active intellectually and have enjoyed the writing and mentorship responsibilities associated with my work.
