When my stepmom was overpaying for her computers, I decided to buy the parts one by one and build them myself. When I wanted to donate to charity, there was no clever online option. So I founded the fundraising platform donare.de. When I found outsourcing software testing expensive, I built a software testing platform. What’s stuck with me over the years is a habit to ask: “Why can’t I do it myself?” When I had my first exit in 2007, I didn’t want to leave the start-up scene. It was just too fun to be around! So I became a business angel and kept building companies. 🪐 Today, I invest in B2B SaaS companies, while nosing around D2C and longevity/ health tech.
