Godfred has wealth of experience in telecoms, Fintech, FMCG and large retail product distribution across Ghana and Africa. He is currently the Controller, Fintech Business Development Officer at Mobile Money Limited a subsidiary of MTN. Driving revenue through merchant acquisition & MoMo integrations for corporate institutions including 3rd-Party Fintech Partners, Banks, financial institutions and building strategic partnerships to add value client's business. Prior to this role, He was the Regional Manager, Sales & Distribution for Vodafone Ghana, and Acting Business Development Manager for Mobile Financial Services in the Northern Sector. He lead route-to-market strategy for Vodafone Cash development in the regions, building a strong Agent/Merchant network and improving Vodafone Cash sub acquisition with special focus on free MMI and P2P. He also worked as the Territory and Channels Development manager for TECNO Mobile between 2016 and 2018 and championed the Sales transformation agenda that placed TECNO Mobile as Ghana's NO.1 preferred mobile phone brands. He led partnership engagements that saw TECNO partnering with Mobile network operators (MNO's) to market it's flagship devices in retail shops across the country. Furthermore, he played lead roles in the SME and Public sector space delivering excellent IT solutions to clients in the private and public sector. As an Enterprise Sales manager for Dimension Data, he managed fruitful relationships with clients which translated into closed deals, supported in new product development for enterprises and ensured excellent customer satisfaction. He is excited about the future of FinTechs and the opportunity it presents as a key driver of economic growth especially in developing countries and beyond.
