Responsibilities:
-Improving and implementing the YES!Delft startup support strategy to increase the impact and success rate of the YES!Delft startup portfolio

-Leading, developing and managing the incubator team and managing the overall incubator operations. Supporting the team in their roles as startup scout, community manager, program managers and trainers.

-Advising and supporting founders: Providing mentorship and advisory services to startups at YES!Delft. Assisting entrepreneurs with strategic planning, business development, and other critical areas to help them grow their businesses.

-Collaborating with other incubators, regional development agencies, Universities, regional funds and Techleap.

-Designing, managing  and running startup programs and services to support the YES!Delft startup portfolio.

-Developing and implementing comprehensive programs and services to support startups in various stages of development, covering areas such as validation, product development, and sales.

Euro Pool Group consists of Euro Pool System (EPS) and La Palette Rouge (LPR). Where EPS has become the standard packaging in the European chain for fresh and packaged foods with its reusable trays and foldable crates, LPR has taken a leading position in the FMCG sector with its innovative pallet pool system. By exchanging knowledge, experiences and ideas with each other and with our customers, we create space for innovation and synergy throughout the entire chain. In other words, sharing the benefits of returnable packaging.

The Innovation department is responsible for new business initiatives, innovation and marketing for both divisions of Euro Pool Group, EPS and LPR.

The department develops and leads the company wide new business and innovation strategy on an ongoing basis. We do this in order to ensure and sustain Euro Pool Group’s competitive advantage by introducing new initiatives (products, services, industries etc.) related to the trends impacting our businesses.
 
Next to a continuous focus on improving our current assets and business processes we work on various innovation projects together with internal and external partners in areas such as the Internet of Things, Data Science, Blockchain, Online Retail, Robotics and Artificial Intelligence.

Prime Vision

Prime Vision builds software for the postal and logistics sector. High-tech automation systems provide advanced identification solutions for images and data, with efficiency in postal and logistics processes enabled through constant innovation.

Prime Vision helps companies operate with the greatest possible efficiency and gain operational advantages through far-reaching automation and customised solutions. Automatic (hand)writing recognition on envelopes and packages, identification of barcodes and written texts on goods in a warehouse and the automatic reading of labels on baggage are just a few examples of Prime Vision’s core technology.

Prime Vision has a separate department for the development of new business opportunities, such as robots and drones controlled by artificial intelligence for sorting packages, the use of NFC labels for tracing a package in the delivery process or the development of a new, smart letterbox. Innovative ideas are tested as proof-of-concepts and pilots in collaboration with customers.

Startupbootcamp

I have over 25 years of experience in various innovative and commercial roles in industries such as telecoms, internet, media, entertainment, and logistics. 

My core competencies include developing concepts from idea to market readiness, conceptual and strategic thinking, and applying technology for business purposes. I have co-founded two startups, Keeno and Susteen, and I have worked for many Dutch corporates, such as KPN, KLM, DSM, and Euro Pool Group. With my company Sparked Curiosity, I also help startups, scale-ups, and grown-ups with strategy, innovation, marketing, and new business. My mission is to accelerate the impact and success rate of the YES!Delft startup portfolio, and to enable and empower entrepreneurs to create and grow sustainable businesses.
