Met Moses the Jeweler, one of the biggest names in the NYC Diamond District.
Surrounded by success, attention, and pressure 24/7… yet he’s one of the most grounded, faith-driven people I’ve ever met.

I met Emily Austin on the street for a Prays interview and what she said about faith stuck with me.

“Prayer is open communication with God, in both the highs and lows.”

We talked about why so many people today struggle to believe, and she said something that hit deep:

“Honestly, I think it’s ego. People don’t want to believe there’s something greater than them.”

That one line says it all.

Faith isn’t about having every answer, it’s about letting go of control and trusting God’s plan.

Like Charlie Kirk used to say: Put your trust in Him.

Two brothers. Both played college football, Duke and Villanova, and one even went on to play for the Patriots

Now they’re dominating a completely different game: New York City real estate.

We met yesterday in the city and talked about everything. The market right now, rent stabilization, the mayor’s policies, and how the 2019 changes still impact deals today. These guys have been in it for years and understand NYC like few others do.

But what stood out most wasn’t just their knowledge. It was their connection.
 Two brothers, locked in, building together, balancing business and brotherhood in the most competitive market in the world.

That hit home for me. I’m building a startup with my own brother right now, and it reminded me how special it is to build something side by side with family.

You can feel when people move with purpose. Izzy and Lav are the real deal, sharp, humble, and driven.

Grateful for the time, the insight, and the energy. Excited to keep building with people who just get it.

Sometimes you don’t wait for the meeting… you make it happen.

This one started with a few DMs that went unanswered.

Eventually, Chris replied:
“Sure, come by anytime.”

So one day, I happened to be near his office… and decided to just show up.

Now here’s the funny part … the elevator opens right into the middle of the office.

No lobby. No reception. Just me standing in the middle of the bullpen while the whole team looks up like,
“Who’s this guy?”

I said, “I’m here to meet with Chris.”
They asked, “Do you have an appointment?”
I said, “No.”

It was awkward, like a scene from a movie.
After waiting a bit, Chris came out, recognized me from LinkedIn, and told me to schedule something official for next time.

So I did.
A few weeks later, I came back… this time for real.

We sat down and had an amazing conversation.

He told me when he was 19, 20 and 21 he used to make 300 cold calls a day, from 8 AM to 8 PM. Every. Single. Day.

And he said something that stuck with me:

“The question you should always be asking is , what do I need to do right now to make money?”

We talked brokerage, lending, focus, and long-term strategy.
Funny enough, he even knew one of the borrowers from a deal I just worked on.

Chris is killing it in NYC, and I’m grateful he took the time to meet.
Sometimes, it’s not the big meetings that change your path, it’s the ones you make happen yourself.

$18,000,000 deal. Fully leased. Still not an easy call.



This one came across our desk last week, a 160-unit multifamily property in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Great property. Great tenants. Great cash flow.

So what’s the issue? The sponsor wanted maximum cash-out.

Deal Snapshot:
- Purchase Price: $18,000,000
- Loan Request: $13M refinance
- Occupancy: 98%
- NOI: ~$1,150,000
- Cap Rate: 6.4%

What we liked:
- Excellent occupancy and consistent rent collections.
- Strong submarket: Grand Rapids has quietly become one of the Midwest’s most stable multifamily markets.
- Long-term sponsor with clean financials and solid management.

What made it tricky:
- Property taxes recently reassessed, cutting into DSCR.
- Sponsor wanted interest-only structure to maximize proceeds.

Our approach:
We modeled three paths:

Option 1 – Conventional Bank:
65% LTV, 7.00% rate, 30-year amortization, limited cash-out.

Option 2 – Debt Fund:
70% LTV, interest-only, higher rate, faster close, flexible structure.

Option 3 – Agency Refi:
60% LTV, best rate, but slower execution and tougher underwriting.

Lesson:
Every lender loves stable assets, until you ask for aggressive terms.
In today’s market, certainty of execution beats chasing the last dollar.

Week 12 as a 23-year-old startup founder and this week, we officially started our first real hiring process.

We’re bringing on a Creative Director: someone to help us grow the brand, marketing, and social media presence.

Thank God, tons of people applied. But that’s where it gets tricky… now it’s about choosing the right fit. Someone who actually gets the mission, not just the role.

Add in a 7-hour time difference while traveling for the holidays, and it’s been nonstop late nights, early mornings, and balancing family with focus.

No matter where you are in the world, when it’s time to work, you show up.
That’s the difference between a dream and a launch.

We’re getting closer every week. Let’s go.

What’s been the hardest part of hiring for you… finding talent or finding the right person?

25 hours. No food. No water. No phone.



That’s Yom Kippur. The holiest day of the year. A complete reset… reflection, prayer, clarity.

And today, I landed in Israel.

There’s no place that hits me like this. The energy. The people. The purpose. Every time I touch down, it feels bigger than me.

Coming off Yom Kippur, the timing couldn’t be more perfect. Yesterday was about shutting off, looking inward, and asking God for forgiveness. Today is about stepping forward, with family, with faith, with a renewed sense of mission.

Business. Legacy. Life. It all feels sharper when I’m here.

$42,000,000 mixed-use development in Austin, TX.



Here’s how we broke it down.

150-unit multifamily with ground-floor retail in one of Austin’s fastest-growing neighborhoods.

Loan Request: $28,000,000 construction loan

Exit Plan: Lease-up and refinance into permanent debt

Here’s what we liked:

- Austin remains one of the top-performing real estate markets in the country.

- Prime location surrounded by restaurants, walkable retail, and major employers.

- Proven sponsor with a strong track record on similar projects.

- Solid rent growth projections, even in a cooling market.


Here’s what raised concerns:

- Construction costs are climbing, budgets are getting tighter every month.

- Competing developments are already underway nearby.

- Lenders have pulled back on new development, limiting leverage options.

Our take:
This deal works, but only with the right structure.

We’d explore two paths:
- Bridge-to-perm loan: higher leverage, more flexibility during lease-up.
- Bank construction loan: lower rate, less risk, but tighter leverage.

In this market, the story behind the numbers matters just as much as the numbers themselves.

It’s not about chasing flash, it’s about protecting your investors, your capital, and your reputation.

I made a promise to God this week.




On Monday, I was standing in the middle of Hostage Square in Tel Aviv, surrounded by thousands of Jews praying, crying, and singing as the remaining hostages were returned.

It was one of those moments that changes you.

Right there, I made a promise to myself and to God:
When I grow this platform, when I have real reach and influence, I’ll use it for good.

To be a light.
To represent the Jewish people with pride.
And to remind the world that faith still matters.

Not just for Jews, for everyone.

To show that prayer isn’t weakness, it’s strength.
That God always has a plan, even when we don’t understand it yet.

That moment grounded me.
And I’ve carried that promise into everything I create… every conversation, every video, every prayer.

If God gives you a voice, use it to bring light into the world.

Then I had a talk in Dallas that flipped my perspective.
 It wasn’t about funding or features… it was about retention. A simple idea from a friend that changed how we’ll keep users long-term.

It reminded me of something important: Everyone has opinions.
 But the right advice, from the right people, at the right time, can change everything.

Now we’re back in NYC, building the sales team, meeting owners, and gearing up for launch.

Most founders fake it.


This week, I admitted, I had no idea what I was doing.

Week 13 as a 23-year-old startup founder.
We were testing the first version of our product, and the dev team started explaining something deep in the backend.

Five seconds in… I was lost.

Instead of pretending to understand, I stopped them and said,
“Explain it to me like I know nothing about coding.”

Because I don’t… yet.

And that’s the point.
You don’t need to have all the answers.
You just need to keep asking questions, learning, and adapting fast.

What’s something you had to admit you didn’t know, that ended up teaching you the most?

Can anyone tell me why someone would vote for Mamdani?



I’ve yet to hear one good reason.

The other 2 guys aren’t great either, don’t get me wrong. 
I think the bigger problem about all this is that we have 3 terrible candidates.

But Mamdani refused to condemn Hamas, a terrorist organization... I don’t think anything else should matter except that. 

How did New York get here? Is there really no one better out there?

Stop telling people to “work-life balance” their way to success.




When you’re building, balance doesn’t exist. It’s sacrifice. It’s obsession. It’s long nights and missed parties.

Yes, rest matters. That’s why I take Shabbat. But the truth? Most people use “balance” as an excuse to avoid going all-in.

If you want to win, there are seasons where life has to tilt.

The real lessons come from the deals that test you.

This one was a 120-unit multifamily in Phoenix, Arizona.
Here’s the catch… only 60 units were leased.

The deal:
- Purchase Price: $16,000,000
- Loan Request: $10M bridge loan
- Exit Plan: Lease-up, stabilize, then refinance into perm debt

On paper, it looked like a great value-add play: Strong sponsor, prime location, and major upside once stabilized.

But here’s what made it tough:
- Occupancy under 50%
- Heavy CapEx required
- Lenders pulling back on leverage post-rate hikes

So, what do you do?

We modeled two paths:
- Bridge Loan: 75% LTC, interest-only, 18-month term… faster close, higher leverage.
- Bank Loan: 65% LTV, lower rate, but tighter structure.

In the end, the bridge loan won out, not because it was cheaper, but because it backed the story.

When a deal’s in transition, lenders don’t just fund the property, they fund your plan.

Lesson: In this market, speed and story matter just as much as the numbers.
