I am a frontend software engineer and I take great pride in the career that I have built up so far in frontend development. I have a solid mathematical background from the Federal University of Minas Gerais with a degree in Computational Mathematics that allowed me to have an analytical mind which I use in the job market by using practical and optimized solutions that improve UX. I am excellent at creating interfaces that are aesthetically pleasing and useful, but also accessible. I strive to deliver high-quality products with React.js, TypeScript, and JavaScript that not only satisfy but exceed expectations. In 2022 I started working at Guidance Experts, a company where this client-oriented approach has delivered tremendous results: the average ticket size grew by 10% and we doubled revenue for two major Brazilian fashion brands, Oficina Reserva and Simples Reserva. I built and improved user interfaces for the web, in accordance with HTML5 & CSS3 standards, making sure that accessibility was enabled by following WCAG and WAI-ARIA guidelines. This has been a great way to improve the accessibility and inclusivity of large scale web applications, expanding the reach of users and creating more navigational friendly experiences. This project improved user engagement by 25% and made the experience on a number of devices more consistent across browsers, while also staying backwards compatible with assistive technologies. I have worked in web systems development with recent technologies such as React, Next.JS and Remix, always combining the best of theory with practice in my work that has been key to digital transformation as well organizational success. I like to keep my skills fresh and applicable, so I am always looking for new ways to use IT in business — and help companies grow faster.
