I enjoy providing an essential service to safeguard life and property. I started in the dryer vent inspection, dryer vent cleaning & dryer vent repair industry in 1987 when I established Aarons Great Northwest Chimney Sweep and Dryer Vent Cleaning in San Antonio, Texas. In the mid 90's I started specializing only in dryer vents as Aaron's Dryer Vent Cleaning. I was trained by the Chimney Safety Institute of America to detect faulty dryer vent installations which may require re installation to minimize the risk of fire. We comply with Texas building code standards. Since over 80% of US homes own a dryer, our goal is to educate the public about how to properly care for its dryer vent. In September 2010 I sold Aaron's Dryer Vent & moved to Houston where I ran a second business under the same name until December of 2019. From 2020 to Jan 2023 my wife & I lived in Ecuador doing volunteer work. Although it was a great experience & we made many friends, we decided it was time to return to Texas. In March of 2023, AALPS Dryer Vent Cleaning was established. Hard work, customer service and entrepreneurship has always been part of my life as instilled by my parents' business work ethic in Chicago and in San Antonio.
