This was a summer commitment only.  I taught rising 10th and rising 11th graders who were attending a residential program at the University of Wisconsin reading and writing skills. These students, often the first in their families to have college aspirations, are selected for the program based on need and academic merit.  The program is designed to help bolster their skills and prepare them for college level work.
