Supporting the activities of Academy of IT program at the Apex High School. Chair of the Internship committee. One of the program's completion criteria is a paid internship of a technical nature - at the end of their Junior year. It is amazing what a 17 year old can do for a local business!

Astadia - Where Enterprise Meets Cloud

•	Program Manager responsible for all Legacy Modernizatio project delivery. 
•	Brought a large, multi-million dollar project to successful completion through resource allocation and project guidance along with customer expectation management. Project went live in September 2014. Received company recognition for: bringing “one of our most difficult projects to completion.” This was an IBM Mainframe to Micro Focus on MS-Windows migration for a Canadian provincial agency.
•	Managed a successful Unisys Mainframe migration to Micro Focus on MS-Windows for a city government. Project went live in May 2015. The project included reverse engineering part of the application where code and documentation were lacking.
•	Managed a multi-million dollar Canadian Gov’t Unisys Mainframe migration project. Target Windows, Micro Focus COBOL and SQL Server DB. This project is run by a consortium of multiple partners making for multiple clients to be accommodated. The project has security clearance requirement. The project team included 25 members.
•	Managed a multi-million dollar Unisys Mainframe migration project for a financial company in France. Target is IBM z/OS and DB2. The application includes XGEN, an Astadia 4GL product as well as COBOL. Project went live in June 2018.
•	Ran two Proof of Concept projects for a large financial company in South East US to successfully proof the capabilities and performance of an IBM Migration to Oracle ART/Tuxedo and Oracle DB.
•	Performed opportunity scoping and proposal development, RFP responses and worked with partners to shape the deliverables to prospects in Legacy Modernization and Cloud Migration. Awarded an RFP for a major project by state agency for modernization of their IBM mainframe applications. Awarded a federal agency major Unisys to Azure cloud migration. 
•	Ran the company’s ISO27001 compliance and other internal projects.

•	Recruited, trained and promoted Senior Solution Engineers within the organization. Team members were consistently promoted within the organization
•	Succeed in proving the capabilities of newest technology (PL/I support for migration) that led to winning two adjacent $1M mainframe migration projects (2012)

•	Succeeded in generating additional revenue from existing outsourcing contracts through change programs and ensuring customer satisfaction and trust.

•	Established and managed a local branch of an International company. Responsibilities covered direct sales and marketing, delivery management and customer support as well as all logistics and financial management and reporting
•	Succeeded in maintaining and growing revenue levels from customers. Established and managed relationships with distributors - Hitachi Data Systems and Tier Technologies.

•	Co-founded Sapiens’ involvement in the Y2K market; this line of business earned a considerable part of the company’s revenues over 3 years
•	Succeeded in achieving market penetration and over-exceeded plans for revenue attainment by 500% ($16M plan, $80M attainment)
•	Designed, managed and marketed Sapiens Y2K Solution – product and methodology. Supported regional sales and marketing teams. Participated in customer-facing pre-sales and delivery activities as well as press interviews
•	Established and managed relationships with partners - New Dimension Software (now BMC), Mercury Interactive (now HP) and Core-Soft (an Israeli-based start-up).
