So, I adopted an alias long ago: cr0hn I've been deep into cybersecurity for over 20 years. I love my job. Seriously, I'm passionate about it, and I'm pretty good at it, too. Getting paid for something you love? It's amazing. To give you an idea, I started with computers on a Pentium 200 MMX when I was 15. At 15, I was already late to the game, but it didn't matter. I spent hours and hours in front of the screen, not just playing games, although I did a bit of that, too. I enjoyed tinkering with the operating system, hardware, and everything. Since then, I've been a knowledge sponge. Whether it's operating systems, development, systems, hacking, or defense, I love diving into it all like a kid with a new toy, trying to understand how things work. And I haven't stopped. Since that moment, I’ve been a sponge. I don't care if it's operating systems, development, systems, hacking, defending. I have a blast like a kid with a new toy, trying to figure out how things work. And I haven’t stopped... I’ve worked in companies of all sizes, been a consultant, and led teams. I've also created products and services with a killer ROI. I’ve built companies and helped other startups grow. I code in Python because I love it. I’ve created hundreds of open-source projects. I’ve traveled half the world giving talks. A lot of talks. I founded one of the most important cybersecurity conferences in Spain. An old boss once called me a "machine gun of ideas." I'm not sure if it was a compliment or a critique, but I liked it, so I kept it. And I'm not stopping. What do I do? I solve tough problems. That's what I do. And I do it well. What kind of problems? You know when you've hit a wall with a problem and don't know how to solve it? When you've tried almost everything? When you've spent a fortune on consultants and still have no solution? That's where I come in. I solve problems. The phrase I hear most from clients is, "If we'd hired you sooner, we would've saved a ton of money." My dad always said, "Everything costs twice as much for the lazy and the poor." And he was right. Before you ask, I'll tell you. I'm not cheap. If you're looking for something cheap, I'm not your guy. If you want something done well, I'm your guy. If you're looking for cheap and good, that doesn't exist, so don't waste your time.
