With over 9 years of rigging and crane supervision experience in the shipping and wind turbine industries, I am a technically proficient and reliable Docking Master at Harland & Wolff. I hold NVQ Level 3 and 4 credentials in moving engineering loads and controlling lifts, as well as certifications in mobile elevated working platforms and forklift operation. I have a strong track record of delivering high-quality results in challenging and complex projects, such as the Borgny Dolphin, Blackford, and Byford Dolphin rigs, and the East Anglia One wind farm construction. As a Docking Master, I am responsible for mooring and dry docking vessels, coordinating and supervising heavy lifts up to 700 tons, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. I am also a skilled rigger and rigging supervisor, performing various rigging duties, controlling tandem lifts with mobile cranes, and providing technical advice and support to junior colleagues.
