I am responsible for directing, leading and managing the recruitment operations and managing the recruiting division for all positions within the city of North Port, Fl.

This involves collaborating with hiring managers, developing recruiting strategies, conducting interviews, and ensuring a smooth hiring process for all talent. 

I will play a key role in aligning recruitment efforts with overall business goals and objectives.

Built relationships with hiring managers, performed intake meetings to define job specifics, and ensured candidate fit. Utilized various platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter and GitHub to source, screen, and interview candidates for a range of technical roles. Assessed candidate suitability using structured interviewing techniques for predominantly remote roles. Maintained the applicant tracking system (Workday ATS) with up-to-date documentation for compliance. Led salary negotiations and onboarding processes and coordinated with managers for new hire setups. Analyzed recruitment metrics in collaboration with hiring managers to measure key performance indicators and improve the hiring process. Led a recruitment team, driving project implementation and daily recruiting operations.

•Developed a recruiting strategy and process improvements, authoring a hiring playbook for H.R. compliance and best practices.
•Managed 35-50 high-priority requisitions monthly, consistently meeting staffing goals across various business units.
•Launched a sponsorship program enhancing the engagement and transfer of H1B Visa and EAD candidates.
•Drove the hiring of over 100 veterans, contributing to diversity and support for veteran employment.
•Reduced the time to fill positions from over 90 to approximately 60 days, streamlining the hiring process.

I have been so proud of myself by working a normal day shift with working at Microsoft recruiting for high volume Data Center roles in Atlanta and Richmond, Va. While also going for my degree in Exercise and Sport science. So as an old fart I have made the commitment to expand my education as well as my recruiting experience. So if people say they don’t have time I will say they are not committed or disciplined to make a better life. I am nothing special but I have the Veteran drive to learn, accomplish and never quit. 

It takes a lot of mental fortitude to get better as well as nothing can stop me attitude. I am so proud of going back to school. But you have to have the drive to make a better life as well as to have a back up plan in no matter what your career plan is. If I can do it. Anyone can.
