The Armenia Project (TAP)

The Armenia Project (TAP) is an educational non-profit that's building a strategic communications ecosystem for Armenia to more effectively share its real story with the international community. TAP's core areas of focus are impactful storytelling about Armenia's potential, from economic, travel and cultural perspectives; facilitating media travel from across the globe to see, experience and report on Armenia firsthand; and investing in young journalists and media professionals, both in-country and from abroad.

Acting Director

· Develop, plan, and apply PR and Marketing strategies to promote Armenia as a tourism destination within local and international target markets.
· Liaise with international travel publications (Lonely Planet, National Geographic, 34Travel, UNESCO World Heritage Review, etc.), PR agencies, and OTAs to execute Ads, and public awareness campaigns to promote Armenia as a tourist destination
· Initiate and lead the development of Armenia's official destination branding ("Armenia, the Hidden Track") and new website development (www.Armenia.Travel)
· Cooperate with local, and international partners, and government bodies in order to implement promotional campaigns, events, and tourism-related activities,
· Facilitate the dissemination of information on current activities, and new projects of the Tourism Committee of Armenia among local and international stakeholders, partners, donors, and the public at large
· Ensure social media coverage of the Tourism Committee as the main government entity to develop Armenia's tourism development and international promotion policy
· Execute local and international media relations, plan and lead press trips to showcase Armenia's tourism potential and the competitive tourism offerings in the target markets
· Plan and implement the Influencer marketing strategy and organise fam trips to Armenia
· Support the organisation and implementation of annual public events of the Tourism Committee,
· Build and successfully maintain partnerships with local and international organisations, agencies, and companies in regard to destination marketing and promotion

Dasaran is the only large-scale school program in Armenia that succeeded to connect 1,495 schools by bringing all stakeholders in education into a common platform. Being the first to introduce e-tools into Armenia’s school system, it helped raise transparency and provide effective monitoring for all parties involved in the education process.

As the Executive Director at The Armenia Project (TAP), I lead program initiatives in the country that align with the organizational mission of promoting the country's culture, history, and development. With over fifteen years of experience in PR and Communications, I manage media and PR activities, coordinate journalist travels, and contribute to raising awareness about Armenia globally.

My core competencies include media and press relations, strategic communications, event and organizational management, PR and marketing strategy. I also drive partnership development efforts, engage in public outreach activities, and support the strategic planning and development of the Foundation. 

I am passionate about creating impactful and meaningful communication content and campaigns that showcase an organisation's potential and achievements.
