I gained experience across both public and private sector organizations, learning to adapt and work with people from different cultures, seniorities and backgrounds. In a world where we constantly draw boundaries, it’s enriching to learn from each other and share cultural practices if they help us work better. Within the life sciences industry, I learned to collect, clean and process large volumes of data to help established pharmaceutical clients make strategic and operational decisions - leveling the playing field through cross-industry insights. I also helped secure new product approvals from a range of regulatory agencies to meet commercial goals and help patients in their treatments. I’ve been fortunate enough to understand the dynamics within large organizations with plenty of structure, and smaller start-ups where one wears multiple hats. I enjoy broadening my network, learning about new topics and gain energy whilst doing this. In a team, you will often find me playing an activator role, or practicing empathy to make sure individual differences don’t impede overall team objectives.
