Finbetween

Finbetween, a FinTech (before you called it like that), with a focus on automating the process of issuing and servicing loans. I joined Finbetween as its second employee and had a variety of roles and job titles throughout my stay. 

I started as an analyst working on the cloud-based lending product and grew on to become a product manager of the loan servicing package to evolve to a project manager / consultant to facilitate customer-sided implementations. 

What I’m proud of: 

a) Having been able to design and shape a great product that provided a frictionless straight-through process for originating consumer and mortgage loans. Beyond the buzzwords, we created a product that was mobile, cloud-based scalable, API-ready and this in an agile way.

b) Making the product work at the premises of different clients throughout Europe. Moreover as a lead analyst and eventually project manager, I’ve implemented the product at different clients active in Financial Services. 

c) Acquiring expertise in the business process of lending on one side and getting deep knowledge on technology implementations at the other side. 

d) Being at the front-seat when building the team and the company:
        o Hiring new people, coaching new analysts and building the organization as a management team 
           member as we grew. 
        o Creating an offshore development team and working virtually agile. Foremost spending time in 
           Chennai to get to know and build the team. 

Finbetween got acquired by Davinci Ventures in 2015.

- BE: Stock Exch. Listed Retail Company: Implemenation of SAP Financials functionalities. Focus on VAT 2010 regulations for BE & LUX
