“What’s your story?” is usually my opening ask on the stage, entering a room or over dinner. Another human’s Genieus and story intrigues me to know more, be more curious, think differently. Yes, I want to hear the answer to “how are you?” though I really want from each different person to and hear their answers around: “How are you … rethinking something? | working through a struggle? | exploring a diverse (different from you) perspective?” The process of building story in business or life is what keeps me in the leadership business. Listening plus finding connections among people, institutions, business or organizations is where I thrive - especially through the most unexpected, even contradictory intersections. That is where the productivity and creativity happens. I am at home on both corporate platforms and higher ed campuses - and board rooms of both. Doctoral work with research on diversity, mission, and change etched my career in organizational and leader development. My niche emerged with a hybrid approach aligning the critical impact of service, inclusive communication and business workflow. This is my "why." I intentionally have chosen to land in this challenging, yet favorite hybrid sweet spot. I speak and coach with business and institutional executives, teams, boards and individual leaders. Whether brain waves in the room collide or align, either way - light bulbs go on. Results emerge through people + process. growing into a newly imagined state of productivity. I focus on movement and seeing people moved.
